Job Summary:
This is a remote role with significant travel. The Manager, Production Sales, will procure and manage key accounts through outside business development efforts and support our venue sales teams. You will work with sales leadership to provide excellent customer service to clients, venue teams, and strategic partners.
Essential Functions:
- Support company growth by serving as a primary outside sales resource, focusing on producing high-quality in-person, virtual, and hybrid events within the corporate space. This includes identifying prospects, building relationships, and offering creative solutions.
- Generate and revise quotes for hotel leads requiring AV products and services.
- Follow the venue-based sales process as directed by sales leadership, including lead prequalification, quote generation, contract confirmations, and follow-up.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of Pinnacle Live’s products and offerings.
- Provide leads with necessary resources such as layouts, renderings, visuals, and product suggestions.
- Enter all pertinent client information into Pinnacle Live’s CRM platform.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the Director of Production Sales.
- Build strong relationships within and outside our hotel sales organizations.
- Support Pinnacle Live’s sales teams within hotel locations.
- Participate in networking organizations to develop new relationships.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a sales and customer service role; prior hospitality industry sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and ability to generate insights into sales activity and progress.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills internally and externally.
- Production and staging experience preferred.
- Scenic and décor experience preferred.
- CMP or CEM certification desirable.
- Rigging, electrical, and exhibit experience preferred.
Travel Demands:
Travel of up to 40% required.
