Position Summary:
We are seeking a UI Developer to help shape the way customers interact with our e-commerce platform. This position is five days onsite at the Boca Raton location and is reporting directly to the Director of E-commerce and Customer Experience, this role blends front-end development skills with a strong foundation in design tools like Figma to deliver intuitive, visually compelling, and conversion-focused user interfaces. You’ll play a key role in bridging the gap between design and development, collaborating with Marketing, Development, and Data Science teams to create cohesive and innovative digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML and CSS, aligned with modern web standards and design specifications.
- Translate Figma designs into high-quality code, ensuring design fidelity, usability, and performance across devices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs, contributing to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI components.
- Partner closely with designers and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and seamless implementation of UI elements.
- Conduct basic UX research and assist in user testing efforts to validate and refine design solutions.
- Maintain and contribute to a scalable design system and reusable code components that support brand consistency.
- Stay current with UI trends, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and emerging technologies in front-end development and e-commerce.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in UI/UX design or front-end development are a plus.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience developing UI for web and mobile applications, preferably in an eCommerce or digital product environment.
- 1+ year experience with Figma (or similar tools like Sketch or Adobe XD) for design interpretation and collaboration.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design; JavaScript familiarity is a plus.
- Understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and data-driven design practices.
- Awareness of accessibility best practices and inclusive design standards.
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus.
