The Technical Writer will receive reviewed and completed technical orders and time compliance technical orders from the TO/TCTO editors and complete publishing tasks. Publish all TOs and TCTOs within performance standards ranging from annual reviews of TOs to 30-day TCTOs, including 2-day compliance windows for IAVA TCTOs. Attend and/or host TO guidance conferences, IPRs, and certification & validation events.

Responsibilities

1. Work directly with the TO Manager, Technical Order Management Agent (TOMA), and TO Development IPT.
2. Attend and/or host TO Guidance Conferences, IPRs, TO Certifications, and TO Validations.
3. Ensure compliance with timelines for TOs and TCTOs: annual revisions, 30-day TCTOs, 2-3 day IAVA TCTOs.
4. Coordinate with IA/Cyber Security for IAVA TCTOs.
5. Maintain cross-reference matrices and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

1. 3-5 years experience with technical orders and publications.
2. 1-3 years experience in writing/editing technical documents.
3. Experience with MIL-SPEC-TRA-DOC, ArborText, and hosting TO guidance conferences and IPRs.
4. Experience with TO certification and validation processes.
5. Assist with 3rd Party doc CRM reviews.

Certification

• Active IAT II certification required.

Clearance

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance.
