The main function of a Data Analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database, applying knowledge of database management systems. You will transform data into clear, intuitive visualizations, graphs, and charts to facilitate understanding and analysis by stakeholders. Key Responsibilities of a Data Designer
Work with senior management, technical, and client teams to determine data requirements, business data implementation approaches, and best practices for advanced data manipulation, storage, and analysis strategies. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary updates. Communicate complex data insights in a compelling and engaging way. Work with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and create effective visualizations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related; Master’s preferred. 7+ years of applicable experience. Experience with database technologies, specifically SQL. Must have experience designing data structures and schemas. Strong written and oral communication skills.
