The vision for the AI/ML Data organization is to improve products by using data as the voice of our customers. Within this organization, the mission of the ML & Data Application team is to develop algorithms to enhance Foundational Models, as well as building applications to collect valuable data to improve model capabilities. As a Senior Front-End Engineer on the team, you will develop apps that showcase the advanced capabilities of Foundation Models.
Description You will partner closely with the Foundation Model team and Intelligence product teams to develop front-end applications that elucidate complex user experience aspects. You will guide best practices in visual presentation and data product information architecture. You will also perform exploratory analyses to enrich our understanding of LLM capabilities and identify new questions for investigation.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience building front-end applications using React and other UI frameworks.
Familiarity with API development using web frameworks (e.g., Express).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Familiarity with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python) and experience in team development environments (git, documentation, testing).
Self-motivated, curious, with creative and critical thinking skills, and a drive to improve processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with LLM applications, especially agentic workflows.
Good judgment in visual communication of information.
High tolerance for ambiguity; proactive in connecting and synthesizing information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience influencing decisions.
