Role
SKA Design is currently looking for a Project Manager and Program Planner with Healthcare experience to work in conjunction with our internal team and the client to bring wayfinding signage and environmental graphics projects to completion.
The ideal candidate would have Healthcare project experience with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read and comprehend architectural plans, shop drawings and various construction schedules. We are looking for a team player who can assist in all phases of the project design process with an emphasis on programming to develop wayfinding, analysis and provide messaging expertise. The candidate should also be proficient in either producing or overseeing the production of complete drawing packages, reviewing with clients and providing construction administration services that are inclusive of site visits, site surveys and final inspections of projects. Please note that some traveling will be required.
Responsibilities
The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in the environmental graphic design field with a focus on Project Management. The candidate must have excellent 'native equivalent' English-language skills and have a minimum of a B.A. or equivalent college degree in graphic design, architecture, or another related field. Knowledge of code requirements including CBC, ADA, HCAI/OSHPD is a plus.
