Aspen Consulting Group (ACG) is seeking a full-time
Software Defined Radio (SDR) Development Engineer
to work on-site for the US Army’s DEVCOM C5ISR Center in APG, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, willing to pursue innovative ideas, and capable of understanding and communicating complex technical concepts in embedded applications. Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or computer engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, including embedded systems (preferred). Experience in documenting software requirements, flow diagrams, user guides, and managing software development using tools like JIRA. Proficiency with VHDL, Verilog, or MATLAB System Generator, and maintaining Xilinx FPGA projects. Strong Linux OS skills, including software installation, building C projects from source, and using command line utilities. Experience with SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio, USRP/UHD, RTL-SDR, or Epiq SDR development kits. Knowledge of commercial communication systems or radar signal processing, and digital RF data manipulation with DSP algorithms is a plus. Must possess an active U.S. DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance. Candidates with existing TS/SCI clearance are preferred. Benefits:
