Major Accountabilities
- Creates and produces marketing, advertising, and sales promotional materials to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
- Evaluates and modifies promotion or advertising programs.
- Displays creative problem-solving skills to achieve client objectives.
- Proficient with Macintosh OS and software including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Keeps current with computer technology, hardware, and software.
- Possesses an average to high degree of color acuity. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy, and accuracy.
- Maintains frequent internal and external contacts.
- Assists other designers as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains sensitivity to global and cultural differences as they apply to design.
Displays a high degree of professionalism, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, presentation, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly adjusting to shifting priorities to meet deadlines. Ensures all projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and accurately. Prioritizes and reports project status daily.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English
Preferred Qualifications
- BA or BFA in Graphic Arts or Advertising Design
- Portfolio demonstrating design ability and potential
