Role Overview: The Studio Advisor provides customer service to members and guests, supports instructors, and creates a positive environment. You will generate revenue by developing relationships with potential and existing members, increasing enrollment and package sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver the BODYROK Service Promise; maintain a clean, friendly studio; adhere to dress code and punctuality.
- Assist members and guests both in-person and via email.
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, changing rooms, and studio areas.
- Proactively perform duties without supervision.
- Monitor emails and ensure proper check-in procedures.
Compensation:
This hourly position offers a base rate plus unlimited commissions based on sales performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Member and guest check-in, greeting, and thanking guests.
- Generate new business through promotions, referrals, and inquiries.
- Promote specials and follow up with potential members via email.
- Handle member service issues, update logs, and promote merchandise.
- Keep the front desk and entryway tidy and perform regular cleaning duties.
- Ensure high customer service standards.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Experience with MindBody software preferred.
- Strong sales drive, customer service skills, and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills and excellent communication skills.
- Friendly, welcoming personality; comfortable around new people.
- Availability to work at least 2 weekend days per month.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts; loud environment.
- Must be personable and able to make guests feel welcome.
