The pay range per hour is $21.50 - $36.55.

All About Visual Merchandising
The Visual Merchandiser supports a great guest experience by ensuring that visual moments are set and maintained according to company guides and visual standards to drive sales and inspire guests. They are experts in visual presentation, including elevated merchandising techniques, mannequin styling, mapping, fixture blocking, and In Store Marketing (ISM) elements.

- Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies.
- Planning and communicating department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Training and developing team members to improve their visual merchandising skills.
- Leading the strategy of visual merchandising and implementation of visual standards.
As a Visual Merchandiser, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
- Planning daily/weekly visual workload with leader guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions.
- Executing weekly visual assessments and partnering with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience.
- Assessing and guiding the execution of visual standards across the store to elevate visual presentations.
- Supporting the execution of the company's Visual Merchandising strategy, standards, and In-Store Marketing (ISM).
- Supporting and validating visual presentations in partnership with leaders.
- Setting overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising presentations.
- Solving merchandising issues and adjusting sets to create inspiring presentations.
- Leveraging daily interactions and huddles to teach visual standards, signing, and affordability strategies.
- Maintaining organization of backroom space and updating signing tools and fixtures.
- Communicating and supporting team onboarding, continuous learning, and training.
- Demonstrating inclusivity and valuing diverse perspectives.
- Ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
- Working safely, reporting hazards, and correcting where possible.
- Creating a welcoming experience for guests and assisting them as needed.
- Engaging with guests to solve their needs and thanking them for shopping at Target.
- Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements.

Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
- Understanding of trends and style reflective of our brand.
- Ability to lead and influence store teams on visual processes.
- Effective communication and ability to operate technology devices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage workload, and prioritize tasks.
- Welcoming attitude and good communication skills.
- Focus and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Expectations
- Access to all areas of the store to respond to issues.
- Operate equipment such as Work Assist Vehicles and pallet jacks.
- Handle cash register operations as needed.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and lift merchandise up to 44 pounds.
