In this role you will never be bored. We build trials, demos, digital experiences, help with events, work with cross functional teams to enable a consistent technical message and accessible platforms. We proudly watch the content and environments we create to support some of the most strategic marking initiatives in the company. We are looking for Technical Content Creator Factory and Process Automation. This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the continental United States.
You’llmake an impact by:
- Creating trials content that is tied to real world problems and highlights how our software can help solve those problems.
- Creating and enabling the creation of demonstration assets that bring the technical message of Siemens to life.
- Building content that is leveraged in our Global Events and sales opportunities all around the planet
- Supporting cross functional internal teams- PreSales, Partners, Marketing, Strategy, Sales and more to leverage our content
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with at least two of the following Siemens platforms or products
-SIMATIC PLCSIM
-WinCC Unified
-Simatic AX
-Industrial Edge
-gPROMS
-COMOS Engineering
-SIMIT Simulation
-SIMATIC PCS7
-SIMATIC DCS Hardware
- 5 years of experience designing control and automation systems using Siemens PLCs, SCADA, DCS, drives, and switching devices.
- 5 years of experience integrating automation systems with higher-level IT systems.
- 5 years of experience withSiemens programming environments such as Step7 V5.x, TIA Portal, and WinCC (V7.x or TIA Portal version).
- 5 years of experience with industrial communication protocols including at least two of the following:
- Profinet, Profibus DP, Profibus PA, Modbus, OPC, MQTT
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with simulation and testing tools such as TIA Advanced PLCSIM and SIMIT.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with operations intelligence tools such as XHQ.
- Familiarity with the broader Siemens software portfolio, including platforms such as Opcenter.
- Exposure to the sales lifecycle (PreSales, Sales, Services).
- Demonstrated adaptability, customer focus, and interest in technology-driven marketing or innovation.

- The pay range for this position is$109,100$-147,200and the annual incentive will be10%of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
