Description Amazon’s Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering organization (RME) is seeking a skilled Program Manager focused on HVAC system design, operational integrity, and reliability maintenance. This role involves managing multiple programs and projects to enhance HVAC systems' efficiency, uptime, and sustainability across Amazon fulfillment sites. The ideal candidate will independently lead complex technical programs, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and work with external vendors and stakeholders. A strong background in HVAC design, construction, or reliability maintenance, along with project management skills, is essential. Knowledge of airflow, HVAC operations, building codes, and standards across geographies is required. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage programs for sustainable HVAC and mechanical systems. Oversee capital projects from design to commissioning. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects. Drive improvements to increase energy efficiency and performance. Provide technical leadership in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance. Lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and monitor project budgets and schedules. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Review engineering designs, perform vendor audits, and develop maintenance strategies. Participate in root cause analysis and risk assessments. Travel up to 75% as required. Qualifications Basic: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience in HVAC design, asset management, or reliability maintenance. Experience managing multiple programs and projects. Knowledge of HVAC systems and relevant standards. Preferred: Professional Engineering license, CEM, or LEED accreditation. Six Sigma or PMP certification. Experience with building automation systems and CMMS software.
