Role Description

Azioth Productions is seeking a skilled Testimonial Video Scriptwriter for an on-site, contract-based position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting authentic, emotionally resonant scripts that showcase real client or customer experiences. This role requires the ability to draw meaningful narratives from interviews and shape them into engaging, brand-aligned scripts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Write scripts for testimonial videos based on interviews, client feedback, and real user stories.

2. Collaborate with producers and directors to determine narrative structure and emotional tone.

3. Develop interview questions and talking points to elicit impactful, sincere responses.

4. Shape raw transcripts and footage into polished voiceover or visual-led scripts.

5. Align messaging with brand identity, tone, and marketing objectives.

6. Participate in on-site interviews, shoots, or editorial sessions to maintain narrative integrity.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

1. Proven experience writing testimonial or real-story-driven video scripts.

2. Strong interviewing, writing, and narrative development skills.

3. Ability to distill key messages from authentic experiences.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on tone and clarity.

5. Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with creative teams.

Preferred Skills and Background

6. Background in marketing, journalism, or documentary-style storytelling.

7. Familiarity with branded content and client-facing video production.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Screenwriting, Journalism, or a related field. Equivalent experience in testimonial video writing or real-life storytelling is also welcome.
