PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES UP TO 80% TRAVEL.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide daily reporting to the project management team.
• Install a wide variety of technology into clients' existing and new build project sites.
• Cable management.
• Plan layout and install all 1st fix hardware, including bracketry and ceiling speaker hardware, ensuring all general contract requirements are met.
• Have knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts.
• Possess basic carpentry and/or installation skills.
• Use power tools safely and proficiently.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems.
• Travel as needed to other sites for project support and installations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Some experience with Crestron, Extron, QSYS, Cisco, or similar systems.
• Understanding of signal flow.
• Knowledge of building AV racks to AVIXA standards, ensuring proper airflow and layout.
• Experience with cabling used in the AV industry and terminating connectors.
• Be agile, responsive, and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage in continuous technical development.
• Be willing and able to work and travel globally.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing hours and customer needs.
• Motivated team player.
• Valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 1-3 years’ experience in the AV/VC industry.
• Knowledge of signal flow.
• Experience with AV installation and systems like Cisco, Extron, Crestron, QSYS.
• AVIXA CTS/CTS-I certification is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30/SST certification is highly desirable.

Pay Range: $29—$37 USD
