Role Overview
The Lecturer (Level B) is responsible for developing scholarly research, contributing to teaching, and engaging in professional activities. The Senior Lecturer (Level C) additionally conducts high-quality research, contributes to educational excellence, and takes on academic leadership roles.
Responsibilities
Level B
- Develop and demonstrate a teaching philosophy that inspires students.
- Conduct classes, assess student achievements, and support postgraduate and undergraduate students.
- Design learning activities, provide assessments, and support student progression.
- Manage course administration and maintain professional development.
- Conduct research and contribute to scholarly impact.
Level C
- Maintain links within the discipline industry and contribute to professional development.
- Lead independent research with significant impact and secure research funding.
- Develop research groups and establish national research networks.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should demonstrate experience in teaching, research, and industry engagement relevant to the level applied for, with a focus on public relations and advertising.
