AnaVation is seeking an experienced User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Developer to join a rewarding and dynamic work program. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience by designing user-centric, accessible, and intuitive interfaces that ensure seamless user interactions in an agile environment. The candidate will collaborate closely with product owners, program managers, and software developers to translate user needs and business requirements into solutions, including Section 508 compliant solutions throughout the product development lifecycle. This position is currently hybrid (mostly remote, with up to two days per week on-site in Lorton, VA). Remote work conditions are subject to change based on the customer's directives, but remote work is expected to continue. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Eight+ years of experience as a UI/UX Developer or similar role. Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design process and front-end development skills. Proficiency in UI design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch). Excellent front-end development skills with proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, JSON, SQL. Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT). Knowledge of responsive design principles and techniques. Excellent communication, collaboration, planning, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in team environments within a fast-paced technical setting. Active Top-Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., A/B testing, surveys). Familiarity with back-end technologies and APIs. Experience with mobile-first design principles. Knowledge of design systems and component libraries. Experience with data visualization principles. Benefits
