Title: Digital Marketing Associate, Interactive Design

Location: New York or Tampa

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Associate plays a key role in VanEck’s digital experience by recommending enhancements that deliver engaging, user-centered web interactions and visual storytelling. This role collaborates with multiple departments/people including but not limited to the creative director, product managers, and content strategy, to drive projects from concept to execution. The associate will support initiatives to elevate user journeys across all digital touchpoints—including websites, tools, videos, social media, and email campaigns—while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

As digital trends, market needs, and client preferences evolve, the Digital Marketing Associate will proactively identify opportunities for improvement through consumer research, information architecture, and usability testing. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can translate complex concepts into compelling, visually engaging solutions that enhance the client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Design Projects: Drive design initiatives that enhance digital client experiences, ensuring alignment with business goals and marketing objectives.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling: Develop motion graphics and animations for web and social platforms that simplify complex financial concepts.
• User Journey Optimization: Analyze client feedback and website analytics to identify areas for improvement. Recommend and design enhancements that streamline user flows and improve engagement.
• Prototype & Wireframe Development: Create interactive prototypes and wireframes that bring digital concepts to life, ensuring seamless collaboration with development teams.
• Pattern Library Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of the website pattern library to ensure design consistency and scalability.
• Competitive Analysis & Innovation: Conduct competitive research and monitor industry trends to recommend forward-looking design solutions that differentiate VanEck in the market.
• Project Collaboration: Partner with marketing teams to align creative designs with campaign goals and ensure messaging clarity across digital platforms.
• Quality Assurance & Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests and perform quality checks to ensure designs function as intended across devices and platforms.
• Brand Consistency: Uphold brand guidelines, ensuring that all digital interactions and animations reflect VanEck’s visual identity.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, interaction design, or user experience design, preferably within the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
• Experience with video editing and animation programs such as Premiere and After Effects
• Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML5
• Proven experience conducting usability tests and optimizing digital interfaces based on user feedback
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of design trends, digital behaviors, and the technical possibilities of web, email, and social media platforms

Compensation

If this position will be performed in whole or in part in New York City, the base salary range is $75,000 to $80,000. Individual salaries may vary based on different factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this position.
