The salary range for this position depends on skills, experience, and organizational needs. An estimated range is: $73,000.00 - $109,400.00.

Location: In-office 4 days/week at WGU Headquarters – 4001 South 700 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84107 (relocation package available)

Role Overview
We’re seeking an Audience Strategy Manager to join our marketing team. You will play a key role in segmenting, defining, and activating our audiences across channels, utilizing behavioral, demographic, and psychographic data to create impactful, data-backed audience experiences. This role is ideal for someone who excels at the intersection of data, marketing strategy, and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Audience Strategy & Segmentation:
- Develop and refine segmentation strategies based on insights
- Translate data into actionable segments for personalization
- Test and iterate on audience definitions to improve engagement
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Partner with CDP Manager, Analytics, and Marketing teams
- Work with stakeholders to support marketing and enrollment goals
- Guide implementation and optimization of audience strategies
- Insights & Optimization:
- Monitor performance of segments
- Provide insights to enhance campaigns
- Identify data gaps and work with teams to improve data enrichment
Qualifications
- 4+ years in marketing strategy, data-driven segmentation, or analytics
- Ability to translate data into customer journeys
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Curious, analytical, and innovative mindset
Preferred Skills
- Experience with a Customer Data Platform (e.g., Tealium, Segment)
- Background in higher education marketing
- Knowledge of data privacy standards (e.g., CCPA, GDPR)
