Job Description

Salary: $110K - $150K annually

BEI Construction is seeking an Audio Visual Project Manager for our Low Voltage division. As an A/V Project Manager, you will be responsible for sales, cost estimates, and managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects. Additionally, you will ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. This role reports to the General Manager of the division with frequent travel to jobsites throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Project Leadership & Execution: Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex AV projects from inception to completion. Develop and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors. Visit sites for project kickoffs, surveys, and monitoring.
2. Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, maintaining relationships and ensuring clear communication. Gather and define project requirements. Provide expert advice on AV system design and implementation.
3. Budget & Financial Management: Develop and track project budgets, monitor costs, negotiate with vendors, and review contracts.
4. Installation & System Integration: Ensure equipment sourcing, oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of AV systems, and ensure operational readiness before handover.
5. Risk Management & Problem Resolution: Identify risks, resolve challenges, and address post-installation issues.
6. Quality Assurance & Post-Project Review: Oversee system testing, provide post-project support, and maintain documentation.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• At least 3 years in AV or project management
• Bachelor's degree in IT, electrical, mechanical, construction management, or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Bi-Amp, QSC programming (not required)
• Industry certifications (not required but preferred)
• Valid CA Driver License and MVR meeting standards
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and independent work skills
