30 per weekHybrid 30 hours per week*Fully remote Monday & Fridays, Onsite Tuesday-Thursday*Schedule flexible to spread among 4 or 5 daysStart Date : 10/1/24We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Design, Materials, and Color Admin to support our Client's team in managing color, material, and tech pack operations. This role involves the coordination and communication of lab dip processes, raw material reporting, tech pack management, and more. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, with a keen eye for color trends and material consistency, while excelling in administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the design department.Key Responsibilities:Lab Dip Review, Tracking, and Communication:
Oversee the review and tracking of lab dips, ensuring accurate and clear communication of comments to mills. Monitor the progress and status of lab dips, ensuring that deadlines are met.Raw Material Reporting:
Extract, analyze, and compare raw material reports from Flex PLM with lab dip charts to ensure consistency in material usage and color accuracy. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between raw materials and design specifications.Lab Dip Organization:
Systematically file and organize lab dip samples and accompanying documentation for easy retrieval and reference. Maintain updated records of lab dip statuses and feedback.Tech Pack Management:
Create and maintain tech packing graphic files for current and future seasons. Develop tech pack templates to ensure consistency and streamline the tech packing process.Imagery Support:
Assist the design team in gathering imagery for seasonal inspiration boards and presentations. Research and curate visual references to support seasonal storytelling.Color Support:
Conduct research on competitor color offerings and trends to inform the design team's color strategy. Assist with the preparation and submission of color samples to mills, ensuring proper communication of color standards.Logistics and Preparation:
Support the packing and relocation of lab dips and the color room to the client's headquarters. Prepare fabrics for 3D scanning and assist with any additional design-related tasks as needed.Qualifications:Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in a design or materials role, particularly with lab dips, tech packs, or material reporting.Familiarity with Flex PLM or similar Product Lifecycle Management systems is a plus.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.A keen eye for color and material trends in the fashion industry.Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
