Athletech News (athletechnews.com) is looking for a dynamic Head of Studio - Branded Content Manager to lead our branded content initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Editor and Publisher, and managing the Branded Content team, this position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in content creation, content strategy, team management, and client relations within the branded content space. With 5+ years of experience, you will guide our team in creating compelling content that meets client objectives and engages our audience effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversee the execution of branded content campaigns.
  • Lead and mentor Branded Content team members and collaborate with sales, edit, and creative teams to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery.
  • Develop innovative content concepts and strategies aligned with client goals and audience interests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, nurturing relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Prep, write and edit branded/strategic content articles and other content, including in-house marketing and promotional copy as needed
  • Drive the development of high-quality content across various mediums, including long-form articles, video, social media, and more. • Manage the editorial calendarand timelines for sponsored campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize content performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to inform content strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, including in a leadership role, within a publisher content studio or agency, with a focus on branded content.
  • Proven track record of developing successful content strategies and managing branded content campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with clients and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of the media, publishing, and advertising landscape.•
  • Experience with CMS platforms, social media management, and content analytics tools.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices in content optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field preferred.
