We're looking for a Senior National Sales Manager to join our sales team managing a territory in the Northeast Market as we expand our footprint in the US.

Your Role:

You will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, growing accounts to ensure ongoing business continuity and customer satisfaction.

It is critical to the role that you will help create, shape, and evolve a tailored strategy for large national fleets. Key to this role is the ability to manage and enhance C-Suite and Board Room relationships and articulate the Cox Automotive Fleet Operations/FleetNet vision.

Success will require the ability to innovate and co-solution multi-year plans with Industry leaders and disruptors. You will work closely with the internal teams to drive the client relationship and ensures Cox Auto / client relationship alignment with key decision makers and influencers to execute the overall client strategy:

What You'll Do

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets.
  • Develop annual plans to manage, grow, and retain assigned account revenue and contractual relationships.
  • Investigate, qualify, pursue, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities to meet or exceed revenue quota.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand account relationships through effective sales and marketing activities. Develop a deep understanding of account organizations, decision-making, and business priorities to align Fleet Operations/FleetNet solutions to meet the ongoing needs of the client. Develop vertical industry knowledge to develop innovative solutions to customer needs.
  • Use the Challenger selling approach to manage and successfully close complex sales opportunities.
  • Use insight and consultative selling techniques to provide feedback to clients on industry trends, strategies, and challenges.
  • Manage sales activities via CRM, build and manage active pipeline, submit accurate monthly forecasting.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

Who You Are

You're a driven, tenacious sales pro, but also a lifelong learner who's open to feedback. You're a detail-oriented person who doesn't lose sight of the bigger picture. You also have the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years of experience in a related field; or 12 years of experience in a related field.
  • The ability to travel within the Northeast region up to 70% of the time.


Preferred:

  • Proven experience partnering with Executives to mutually plan, prepare and execute within a complex sales cycle.
  • Positive attitude, high energy, passion, and a competitive spirit - you should be driven to win and close deals.
  • 5+ years in a customer relationship, sales role servicing large complex account.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales growth and account relationship management, including expanding accounts nationally as well as incremental sales in an assigned account.
  • Experience with contractual services sales and account retention and renewal processes, ideally with business process outsourcing.
  • Ability to develop senior-level relationships (functional and C-suite) to drive effective sales conversations relevant to customer demands and business drivers.

USD 105,000.00 - 157,600.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $105,000.00 - $157,600.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $70,000.00.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
