The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking a talented journalist to assemble, edit and amplify the impact of our flagship daily political newsletter.

The AJC's mission is to be the most essential and engaging source of news and information for the people of Atlanta, of Georgia and of the South. To achieve that mission, we are transforming ourselves from a storied daily newspaper into a modern media company.

Beyond producing the newsletter, you will also take the lead on maximizing its impact through social media engagement, data analytics, and innovative strategies to ensure it remains the best-in-class product that readers and insiders rely on.

The ideal candidate for this job is an early riser, political obsessive, and collaborative teammate who understands the increasingly vital role that newsletters play in the ever-changing journalism landscape. Knowledge of Georgia politics required.

The person who assumes this position must be adept at building a digital audience, creating a two-way conversation with readers and serving readers across multiple platforms.
