Copart is looking for a SEO Manager to drive growth initiatives within our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and execution of high-impact SEO growth projects. The person in this role will develop and manage the content lifecycle, metadata framework, tag structure, and leverage web analytics to enhance online content performance and increase qualified traffic. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technical SEO, content strategy, and SEO performance metrics and be able to work collaboratively across various teams including IT and business partners.

About the Marketing TeamThis is an exciting time for the Marketing department of Copart. We are primarily responsible for driving growth, helping members become active buying cars in online auctions, and retaining/re-engaging members to come back and buy more. Digital marketing levers are a big part of our portfolio of tools including SEM, SEO, Merchandising/Promotions, Email/Push Notification communications (CRM), etc. In addition, we are an international operation, supporting multiple country sites and customer centers.

Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases, and optimize website content accordingly.Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, including but not limited to, meta tags optimization, content optimization, link building, and technical SEO enhancements.Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc., and provide regular reports on SEO performance and initiatives.Stay updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in SEO to ensure the implementation of cutting-edge strategies.Collaborate with content creators, developers, and designers to optimize website structure, content, and user experience for search engines.Identify and resolve technical issues that may impact SEO performance, such as crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed, etc.Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats in the SEO landscape.Provide guidance and training to internal teams on SEO best practices and techniques.Continuously test and iterate on SEO strategies to improve results and adapt to changing search engine algorithms.

Required Experience:3-5 years SEO ExperienceProficiency in paid and free SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.)Proficiency in SEO analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.Mastery of technical-SEO fundamentals (page markup & schemas, URL structures, site crawl performance, server vs. client-side rendering, caching & CDNs, CSS, XML etc.)Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficient with keyword research/data mining tools and competitive analysisProven track record of success in developing and implementing SEO strategies that have driven organic traffic growth and improved search engine rankings.In-depth knowledge of SEO techniques, tools, and best practices.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.Experience with website optimization, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO factors.Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
