THE OPPORTUNITY
The Kentico Web Developer at CU Solutions Group plays a pivotal role in developing large-scale websites for our esteemed clients, primarily in the financial services industry. Utilizing the Kentico Xperience content management system (CMS), you will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level websites. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and possess a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
THE WORK ITSELF
Develop and maintain large-scale websites using the Kentico Xperience CMSCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement features.Implement best practices in software development, including version control, testing, and documentation.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance development processes and deliverables.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.THE SKILLS YOU BRING
The Must Haves...
Proficiency in Enterprise level Kentico Xperience CMS and ASP.NET development, with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.Expertise in website responsive design and front-end programming techniques using HTML and CSSStrong understanding of cross-platform/multi-tier web application development and object-oriented programming concepts.Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently join client calls and explain the technical aspects of a project to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience developing solutions that include modern frameworks (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js) and JavaScript libraries (e.g. React).Experience with HTML/CSS implementation and development, as well as T-SQL and stored procedures.Knowledge of source control systems, such as Git, and proficiency in Visual Studio .NET.High proficiency with Windows Server (IIS) and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, etc.Relational database design and programming expertise (MS SQL Server), knowledge of and/or experience with NoSQL technologies such as RavenDB, MongoDB, DocumentDB, etc.Proven experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and deployment using tools such as Azure DevOps, TeamCity, Jenkins, Travis CI, Web Deploy, Octopus Deploy, Fake, Cake, Gulp, etc.Strong debugging skills combined with experience using performance and load-testing tools.Professional experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban with Agile teams.The Nice To Haves...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.At least 5 years experience in .NET development (C#), ASP.Net MVC, .Net Core, ASP.Net Web API - minimum of 4 years of professional experience in .NET development.Experience working in a senior technical architect/project lead role preferred.Proven experience in a technical leadership role with strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on driving results and fostering collaboration.Ability to handle multiple competing projects in a fast-paced environment.Front-end web design and development (i.e. Photoshop)Advanced troubleshooting for backend and 3rd party integrations.THE PERKS WE OFFER
