Job Description

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is a full-time position, responsible for the development and marketing strategies and execution with collaborate efforts of outside marketing firms. The hired individual will take an analytic approach to create more awareness and leads for all sales programs, while effectively working across multiple departments. The position is based in our Virginia Beach corporate office, reporting to the VP of Sales & Business Development.

Experience: 2-5 years

Candidate must possess:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Excellent organizational, attention to detail and project management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services in a digital world

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

• Able to lift 30lbs

Essential duties:

• Website and Digital Advertising

• Strategy, Administration, and Delivery of marketing program and initiatives

• Graphic Design, Website, Digital Advertising and Social Media management

• Develops and delivers digital marketing strategy across a variety of platforms to drive leads and program awareness

• Utilizes a variety of analytical software tools to evaluate performance and adjust digital marketing strategies

• Abides by and upholds the branding guidelines

• Develops and executes all organizational email marketing campaigns, and implements the social media strategy which includes organic and paid advertising to generate new leads

• Maintains knowledge and adapts the social media strategy utilizing the most current technologies and platforms

• Analyzes all data/metrics and adjusts social media & SEO strategy based on performance

• Ability to create, implement and monitor budgets

• Management of contractor and vendor relationships

• Provides direct supervision and oversees projects related to marketing and graphic design

• Provides project oversight in collaboration with external vendors and other marketing department team members

• Manages all deadlines and provides graphic design support

• Produces flyers, postcards, brochures, and other marketing materials on an as-needed basis

• Upholds the StarChase brand across all graphic design needs

• Assist sales with trade show coordination and marketing around conference events

Education, experience, and certifications:

• BS/BA degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent is preferred

• Experience tracking digital marketing campaign success through Google Analytics, SEO software, or analytic tools

• Strong sense of ownership and urgency to take projects from concept to implementation

• Proficiency in email marketing platforms and working with Adobe Suite

• Strong copywriting and editing skills
