Vestwell's north star is to be the engine behind a $30T industry, powering all payroll-deducted workplace savings programs for small-to-midsize businesses, such as 401(k), 403(b), IRA, emergency savings accounts (ESA), health savings accounts (HSA), 529 college savings, and alike.
Vestwell's focus is to build the most flexible, powerful workplace savings and investment platform, delivered through the hands and minds of their financial services partners with the help of payroll provider partners. The team at Vestwell makes the hard stuff look easy, by combining the expertise of financial advice with the sophistication of a technology provider.
As a result, workplace providers are able to bestow the advice and solution employers and employees have been asking for, while growing and scaling along the way. Employers get a cost-effective solution designed for their needs without all the headaches, and employees get a user-friendly portal that helps them achieve their long-term saving goals.

OUR 2024 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Vestwell's mission is to build a unified workplace savings platform to deliver the elevated experience that every employee deserves, while closing the savings gap.
Our Product and Engineering teams are each hiring interns to participate in a 10-week intensive summer internship program from June 3 - August 9. The goal of Vestwell's internship program is to provide the insights, tools, and training to empower participants to identify and advocate for what they view as the greatest opportunities for our teams to fulfill the company's mission.
As an intern at Vestwell, you will have the opportunity to learn about the company and all aspects of our industry and business across various departments. You will work closely with stakeholders across our extremely collaborative, cross-functional teams to conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings where you will be asked to participate in projects that will help prepare you to tackle business challenges here and in your future career.
To help set you up for success and ensure opportunities for continuous growth, you will have an assigned manager and dedicated mentor to help guide you through your internship with regularly scheduled check-ins and feedback sessions.
Please note, Vestwell's Internship roles are based in our NYC office. Individuals who are hired will be expected to participate in Vestwell's hybrid program of reporting to the NYC office a minimum of two days per week.

Events Marketing : Vestwell's marketing team is looking for an intern. Are you excited by the fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative environment within a fast-growing marketing team? Are you super-efficient and organized, attentive to detail, and a proactive problem-solver? This is an exciting opportunity to step into an internship role in a high- growth startup that is making investing and savings programs more accessible for every American - in the workplace and beyond. This role will be key in supporting a range of event and PR initiatives that aim to differentiate our products in the fintech industry, communicate our brand both internally and externally, and ultimately propel the company's rapid expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Tracking of event metrics and data we can use to determine if event was successful or not, ie was there a positive ROIAssist with Swag Inventory and ordering to ensure proper coverage for future events and for our sales department to readily ship to clientsAssist with event logistics which includes helping with the more than 100 events planned in 2024Organizing and facilitating pre and post event checklists, pre and post-mortems, etc.REQUIREMENTS:
The Necessities:

OUR PROCESS
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 - 2 conversations about Vestwell, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but the usual next steps are a skill or experience screen (e.g. a coding interview for an Engineer, a portfolio review for a Designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in-person interview panel after that if the screens go well. Before making an offer, our interview process concludes with a references check stage for your recruiter to meet with a current or former supervisor and peer.
