Job Summary:
The
Plumbing Designer
serves to focus primarily on the design of building-related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, educational, and healthcare facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
In this role, you will:Produce plumbing drawings for various building typesDevelop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings including domestic water, natural gas, storm drainage/sewer, grease handling, and water heating.
You will be a great fit if you have:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (a plus but not required)EIT / PE a plus but not required3+ years of experience in plumbing design for various types of facilitiesThorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of building typesExperience with building-related projects
Skills/abilities:Strong verbal and written communications skillsProficient in AutoCAD and Revit software
Location : Vista, CATravel - 10%
