UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a user interface/experience designer who will be responsible for the design and user experience of varied software systems across platforms, owning and evolving a company-wide design system, and maintaining brand consistency across web, mobile, and embedded applications.
We need someone who follows and is passionate about the latest research in UI/UX and can take that information and synthesize it into great looking and efficient applications, as well as communicate their thinking to both business and technical colleagues.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with business experts to deeply understand their problems and to create and communicate user interface designs that solve them, while fitting within our company system landscape and vision.Generating UI Specifications and requirements for development in collaboration with product owners and IT leadership.Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design system for the company.Expert on new research, trends, and best practices in design, and can clearly communicate the rationale behind design choices to business and technical collaborators.Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and legal requirements (such as ADA).Testing / evaluating UI designs following development for quality, compliance, and ease-of-use.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, InVision, HTML, CSS (SCSS), and Single-Page Applications.Vue.js, vite, Progressive Web Applications, iOS, and/or Android development is a plus.Formal training in UI/UX design is a plusCollaborative team player, but effective working independently as needed.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
