As an SEO Strategist, you are empowered to think creatively and critically in order to solve unique inbound marketing challenges. You will have ownership over the strategic and tactical direction of various search engine optimization campaigns, spanning numerous industries. The ideal candidate for this position is technically savvy (within the context of website CRMs, HTML/CSS, Google Analytics, Schema, etc.), experienced, confident, and has a proven track record of high-level campaign performance and management. In addition to strategy, implementation, and analytics, this role will frequently interact and collaborate with other internal teams and service implementation partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead, implement, and iterate through local, national, and e-commerce SEO campaigns; understand the context, priorities, and timelines between the three campaign typesConduct thorough keyword research to identify the most relevant and high-volume keywords that can be targeted to improve the search engine ranking of a website or online contentOptimize website content, metadata, URLs, and structure to ensure the website is properly optimized for the targeted keywordsEnsure client websites are technically optimized for search engine crawlers, including optimizing the website's URL structure, mobile responsiveness, page speed, and more...Develop high-quality and optimized content, including blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and more, to improve the website's search engine rankingSupport data tracking integrity and work with team members to ensure accuracy; provide reporting and insights to internal stakeholders and attend client calls to consult on performance and SEO strategiesResearch, experiment with, and utilize emerging technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence assistants); assure qualityLead high-quality link-building strategiesCommunicate regularly with internal stakeholders and clients (as needed); provide updates on SEO performance, collaborate on strategy, and answer any questions or concernsStay up to date on industry trends, project management technologies and methodologiesOther relevant tasks as assigned.Ideal Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field3+ years of experience managing SEO campaigns across various industries with a proven track record of performanceExperience with Google Docs, especially Google Sheets, or equivalent (Microsoft Office)Experience with WordPress content management systemExperience using tools like SEMRush, AHrefs, Moz, ScreamingFrog, Google Ads Keyword PlannerExperience using AI tools (e.g. Jasper, Chat GPT, SurferSEO, etc.) to support SEO strategy, tactical planning, and implementationAdvanced experience using analytical and diagnostics tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag ManagerExceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and clientsPossess excellent judgment, deep understanding of marketing principles and practices, demonstrated leadership (i.e. interdepartmental and intradepartmental), and business acumenExcellent problem-solving skills with the ability to collaboratively resolve conflictsAble to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, but knows when to ask for help when neededCompetencies:
