Director of UX

Location: Cave Springs, ArkansasJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $250,000 - 300,000 per yearOur client, a top-ranked Fortune 500 consumer brand, is hiring a Director of UX to lead the strategic vision and execution of a brand new enterprise-wide platform that will be utilized by the client's entire employee base (far exceeding 1 million users)!This role will shape enterprise-wide people design strategy, collaborating with business, engineering, and product teams, while also having the opportunity to build the entire UX team they will manage.Qualified candidates MUST have extensive experience from a large, enterprise-level team. 15+ years of experience is a minimum, and candidates should bring significant hiring and team lead experience.Generous relocation package offered for candidates outside of corporate location.  Responsibilities:Strategy and LeadershipDevelop and communicate a clear UX vision and strategy aligned with business goals.Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, researchers, and strategists, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer support to advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.User Research and AnalysisConduct user research to gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points.Utilize various research methodologies such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics to inform design decisions.Analyze data and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the user experience and drive data-informed design decisions.UX Design and PrototypingLead the design process from concept to execution, including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.Collaborate with designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that effectively communicate the product's functionality and value proposition.Ensure consistency and coherence across all touchpoints, maintaining brand standards and design guidelines.UX Evaluation and OptimizationEstablish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of UX design solutions.Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to evolve our UX strategy and stay ahead of the competition.Qualifications:Experience level: ExperiencedBachelor's degree or higher in a design-related field and 15+ years of experience in product design, with at least 8 years managing teams of managers and individual contributors.Experience leading product design process and building strong cross-functional partnerships.Excellent visual and interaction design skills and a keen understanding of trends in the marketplace for data tools and visualization.A strong strategic mindset and a systems thinking approach. JOBID: 1050758#LI-CELLA#LI-KD1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
