Here at the Industrial Controls Company, we have multiple people who started in technical roles and have progressed to CAD drafting and even control panel designers. Our CAD techs and panel designers work directly with our customers to determine what’s needed for their application and design the best control panels in the country. And to be honest, many didn’t think they had what it took to move up. What they found was our multi-step training program gave them the knowledge, experience, and confidence to do exactly that. The magic is that we take it step by step and work with you, at your pace, to make sure you’re successful at every level before moving to the next. Keep in mind this doesn’t happen overnight. Our process is to start with the fundamentals by working through assembling and wiring panels, then to QA, and finally to CAD design. While following this path, we teach you why we do things and build on that at the next level. We know it’s not about reading books, or getting a degree, it’s the hands-on training and real-world experience along with the support of a team who know your success will help them and the company to be more successful.
