The Support Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of search engine optimization (SEO) strategies. The ideal candidate is comfortable with modern web technology, including implementation services and web analytics tools. The Search Marketing Manager is a key contributor towards the overall success of the company and will enthusiastically pursue goals in both short- and long-term projects. Is responsible for managing the planning, development, and execution of both paid and organic search strategies, PPC, email marketing, and other online marketing initiatives. The position calls for someone who LOVES DATA and is “numbers minded”! The Search Marketing Manager will go through data collected through our various online marketing programs while directing the team to find new information to be used for implementing new online campaigns while also maintaining all current online marketing efforts. Works closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and Marketing. Responsibilities: • Conducting keyword research • Pay Per Click Management • Conversion Rate Optimization • Content Marketing • Monitoring conversion rates • Researching organic traffic numbers • Tracking the average time people spend on a page • Monitoring and reporting search trends • Looking at websites and social media pages to make recommendations • Researching competitor websites and social media to identify areas of improvement • Remaining updated with new SEO, marketing, social media, and industry trends, tools, and practices • Writing data-based reports • Aiding organizations in link-building strategies • Providing input for creative teams to create SEO content • Providing other teams within an organization with helpful advice about SEO strategies • Optimizing web pages for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets • Updating outdated content • Demonstrates a desire to perform, succeed, and grow Qualifications: • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily and be adept at multi-tasking. They must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational and time management skills. An exceptional customer service orientation is a must! The candidate should be very proficient in working with the Microsoft Office Suite of products and be willing to learn our systems. They must be able to think creatively about problem-solving and look for opportunities to move tasks and projects forward in the face of potential roadblocks, keeping the company’s highest level of service in mind while maintaining fiscal responsibility. • HTML and JavaScript experience • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills • Experience with Google Analytics • Great customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to follow specifications • Ability to work under pressure • Observational skills to recognize warning signs that indicate potential problems • Customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with employees and coworkers Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
