The ideal candidate will have a flexible analytics skillset and a deep interest in storytelling using data and research. You are responsible for identifying key market and advertising statistics, interpreting findings, and helping strategists and account managers understand the numbers behind their marketing strategies and implement research-backed decisions in the marketing process.

THE COMPANY

We are working with a client who is seeking a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mind to help pull, analyze data, and extract deep insights using the systems and tools we are designing in-house and have licensed from third parties. You will be able to leverage data to uncover insights and tell compelling stories.

THE ROLEResponsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular analytics reports by clientAnalyze external and internal customer data using internal business intelligence platform, database spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software toolsEvaluate customers' online behavior and provide insights and recommendations for further enhancements to marketing campaign ROIAnalyze A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and provide recommendationsProvide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questionsYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A successful Data Analyst within this role will likely have the following skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics or a quantitative discipline. Graduate degree preferred.2-4 years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis (or academic equivalent)Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysisExcellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumenProven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracyExperience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
