As a Software Engineer / Front End Web Developer, you will share your talents with us in the following ways:
Design, code and debug programs specializing in JavaScript/TypeScriptCollaborate among a team of high-performing professionals (peers, technical product owners, web business analysts, project managers and business customers) as you understand requirements and develop innovative software set in a lightweight agile development process while applying Room & Board standards and industry best practices.Maintain and support our mission-critical applications (e.g., company web site) as well as internal and utility applications.Estimate, establish and manage timeframes and dependencies.Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve quality and pursue excellence.Exemplify our Staff Member Attributes - Inclusive, Authentic, Work Ethic, Collaborative and CuriousThe tools and technologies you'll use, and the experience you'll bring as a qualified Software Engineer / Front End Web Developer:
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional front-end web application design and developmentPermanent authorization to work in the United States without corporate sponsorshipsOpenness to working on site 2-3 days per week (Hybrid), not considering relocation.Demonstrated knowledge of modern web development tools, technologies, practices and web authoring software (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NextJS, MobX, Sass, Tailwind CSS)Proficiency with unit testing and integration testing (Jest and Cypress)Experience in building accessible websitesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issuesExperience with code reviews and performance tuningExperience working within an Agile development frameworkA curious learner who stays abreast of technology and industry best-practicesWhat you'll find working here Software Engineer / Front End Web Developer:
