Job DescriptionWe are looking for a change communications professional with a strong background in internal employee and change communications. You will enjoy collaborating with global project teams, subject matter experts and functions across the organization. The right person for this role is someone who can flex across multiple projects, work with global colleagues and develop materials for change communications including talking points, FAQs, intranet updates and broadly distributed memos. Working closely with the Digital Technology and Innovation Communications team and the Change Management team, you will engage with business, IT and HR partners to optimally prepare the organization to operate differently and work in new ways.
You may lead a change communications workstream for a global effort or you may be assigned to work as part of a small project team, as the sole change communicator supporting a program change, special project or initiative.
Through your work you will learn a great deal about the organization, including its formal and informal networks and interdependencies, enabling you to understand how work gets done and becoming an effective communicator and advocate for change.
What you’ll do:Partner and support organizational and project change communication efforts for assigned programs, projects or initiatives where you will develop and execute change communications for key technology initiatives and change managementTranslate technology changes into clear and concise messaging across all contentApply standard methodologies, processes, tools and templates, ensuring the change is fully communicated, understood and it’s impacts fully gatheredDevelop change communications which may include the production schedules, assigning tasks, creating key content and coordinating delivery on critical messaging, where requiredParticipate in content planning, ideation, creation, distribution, amplification, and analysisWork cross-functionally with departmental and business stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectivesManage and/or liaison with technology teams, subject matter experts and corporate communications teams for development and distribution of materialsEnsure a swift flow of content through necessary approval processesEnsure communications materials comply with company brand guidelinesTrack progress of programs for effectiveness and continuous improvementDrive adoption of new technologies, processes, and policy changesProvide feedback and ideate on new approaches to communications and change management based on industry trends
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field2+ years’ experience in corporate communications, change management, marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing, or a related fieldStrong project management and organization skills with keen attention to detailExcellent verbal, written, and visual communication skillsExperience working with diverse, cross-functional, global teams and outside vendorsHigh energy, proactive team player, and flexible to pivot with changes in prioritiesPreferred: technology acumen and experience with intranet designAbility to implement appropriate change communications actions and provide support for a large, sophisticated global project.
