CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSManage Local Retail & Divisional MediaPlan, negotiate, place, maintain, and report on media buys for PSG Retail locations including new, relocated, acquired, converted, and Spanish speaking locations by Divisional assignmentMedia types include but are not limited to paid social media (Facebook, Instagram), traditional radio, streaming radio, digital display, out-of-home billboards, and direct mailThe position will require hands-on keyboard platform uploading and management, such as paid social (Facebook), and a mix of vendor direct buying (radio, digital, etc)Coordinates closely with the Creative Team to oversee all media messaging and trafficking needsEvaluate, negotiate, and maintain outside media requests on behalf of the Division, including but not limited to sports partnershipsMeets regularly with Divisional teams for media, store, and procedural updatesEstimated % of Job Responsibility: 35%
Manage Canada's National & Local MediaManage all aspects of national and local store media planning and buying for CanadaLead and manage in-house paid media strategy, execution, and reporting (Facebook & Pinterest)The role requires a mix of agency and in-house media management and oversightCoordinates closely with the Creative Team to ensure creative development and trafficking needsOther role responsibilities include monthly media reporting, contract and invoice management in internal billing and procedural platforms such as Allocadia, Coupa, and WorkfrontMeets regularly and presents reporting or media recommendations to the media team and DivisionEstimated % of Job Responsibility: 40%
Media Team Support & DevelopmentSupport Media Manager in media requests on US National media plansSupports Media Director or other Media Leads or Managers as neededTrain and oversee Media Coordinator or Media Intern positions as neededAssist in media procedural development within the Marcom departmentLead in all budget management and reconciliation for all assigned buys in internal placementsParticipates in Integration meetings to oversee workload and project management for media buysContinue media training and tactical development to further media understandingEstimated % of Job Responsibility: 25%
Qualifications

FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:Bachelor Degree
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:Three to five years experience as a media buyer/planner of Digital, Social, and Traditional Media types such as Radio, Streaming Radio, TV, OTT, and OOH.Media systems experience includes Nielsen, Strata, Social Media Platform Buying (Facebook), SRDS, SQAD, and other media resources.Experienced Project Manager of media planning/buying from evaluation to conclusionExperience as trainer and mentor for fellow staff members
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to plan media costs and negotiate to budgetMulti-tasking ability to handle large number of requestsFamiliarity of MS OfficeBudget reconciliationProfessional manner in dealing with outside vendors and field personnel
