We are always accepting applications from experienced
Senior Civil Designer
candidates to join our team. While we may not have an immediate need at your level in your preferred location, we will keep your application on file for future opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Independently complete assigned engineering designs using professional judgment. Assist the Project Manager or act as Project Manager, assigning tasks, scheduling, and monitoring progress. Ensure the accuracy of tasks completed by team members through QA/QC processes. Make major design decisions that meet client needs and coordinate their impact on related projects. Proactively identify technical, schedule, or financial issues and seek resolutions. Assist in bidding or contractor selection if authorized. Monitor construction activities and supervise field personnel. Respond to contractor questions, issue project addenda, and prepare change orders. Contribute to engineering proposals, including time and cost estimations. Communicate technical information effectively with clients. Serve as a technical expert on projects and act as Project Manager on smaller projects as assigned. Qualifications
Skills/Requirements
include but are not limited to: Minimum of ten years of civil engineering design/engineering experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, BIM 360, and other engineering software. Ability to operate technical analysis and computer equipment correctly. Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to read technical literature and engineering plans. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Develop financial project management skills through project work. Professional maturity, problem-solving attitude, and strong internal and external communication skills. Additional Information
