Full-time Job Description : We are accepting applications from residents of CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IN, KS, KY, MI, NC, OH, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, and WI. RESPONSIBILITIES Use instructional design principles to design and develop learning materials, focusing on teaching adult students, hybrid and online classes, and leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate with faculty to implement technology in courses and create technologically mediated courses. Work with departments and faculty to design and deliver hybrid and online courses. Provide ongoing support to instructors to ensure course integrity and consistency. Train faculty and staff on LMS and emerging technologies and address course design issues. Research best practices and technology trends in the field. Coordinate with support personnel for instructional technology deployment. QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Education, or related field. Minimum two years of instructional design, online teaching, or training experience; mobile learning experience preferred. Understanding and commitment to PLNU's spiritual mission. Knowledge of Canvas preferred. Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage projects, and meet deadlines. Strong commitment to quality service and excellence. Self-motivated, solution-oriented, with high energy and the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent listening, communication, and confidentiality skills. Active Christian involvement and adherence to PLNU's Community Life Covenant. Successful background check required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sitting for extended periods, use of computer equipment, visual and auditory communication, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
