UI/UX Developer Location: Linthicum Heights, MD (Preferably Local) Required: US Citizen/GC Duties: Design and implement responsive web application user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and JQuery. Design and develop wireframes or prototypes based on requirements and validate designs with users. Develop mobile and cross-browser compatible responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular. Ensure components comply with UI/UX guidelines and standards in collaboration with the application team. Oversee the UX/UI practice within the Data and Reporting group. Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, tied to KPIs. Deliver interface designs, prototypes, wireframes, and user stories optimized for various devices and interfaces using high and low fidelity design tools. Make strategic design and user-experience decisions to maintain a consistent UI across all products. Adopt a user-centered design approach, conduct usability testing, and iterate designs rapidly. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders, including Business Analysis, UI Engineering, and Client Support. Apply user-centered design principles, including user research, testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns. Communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions effectively to teams and clients. Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related fields. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing web and mobile applications with responsive front-end interfaces. 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, Node.js, JavaScript, and JQuery. Extensive experience with latest JavaScript frameworks like Angular and CSS. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST, XML, and scripting languages. Experience creating wireframes and prototypes using UI/UX tools. Experience with Data Visualization Dashboards and Reports. Experience with Angular 6/7 and UI performance optimization tools like PageSpeed Insights, Webpagetest.org, Chrome DevTools. Experience in Federal and/or State health and human services programs (preferred).
