Senior User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Designer
Join to apply for the Senior User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Designer role at Sev1Tech LLC.
The UI/UX Designer will design user interfaces (UI) and follow lean UX processes to support architecture and the effective daily execution of shared services within a culture of continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define UI requirements and design innovative user experiences.
- Develop and implement strategic visions for UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
- Ensure architecture and design concepts align with user needs and mission outcomes.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and other user-centered activities.
- Create and maintain UI/UX guidelines, templates, and style guides.
- Work with customer and vendor teams to ensure accurate implementation of design concepts.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new technologies into UI/UX processes.
- Understand and integrate requirements from program offices, application owners, and end users into UI/UX methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- At least 7 years of experience in UI/UX design, product design, or enterprise applications.
- 4+ years of UI/UX experience with cloud-based projects.
- 4+ years of experience in DoD or federal government environments.
- Proven experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking.
- Strong visual design skills focused on clean, modern aesthetics.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive Air Force background and experience.
- Industry certifications like PMP.
- Experience with Air Force Cloud One and program management.
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and cloud architectures.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Oracle, Google).
- Experience with contract management, reporting, and program communication.
