JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
The College/Unit of [Penn State All-Sports Museum] is seeking applicants for a part-time Exhibit Designer.
- Collaborate with the curator, director, and other departments on all phases of exhibit design, including scheduling and budget management.
- Manage Penn State athletic team’s digital signage.
Requirements, qualifications, and competencies include:
- 3-5 years of experience in exhibit design or a related field.
- Creative thinking for innovative design solutions.
- Experience with exhibit design in a museum setting.
- Understanding of materials, components, and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of CAD and file management.
Schedule:
- 10 to 20 hours per week.
Compensation:
The starting rate is $20 per hour.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Background Check. A valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records check are also required.
