Job Description: GDIT is looking for a Technical Writer for the USCENTCOM CITS Program in Tampa, FL. The candidate will produce professional technical and contractual documentation across the program.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Create staff packages and documentation including white papers, decision papers, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, databases, SharePoint, and policy documents.
- Assist with editing and professionalizing management and engineering documents, technical reports, help documents, QRGs, and user guides.
- Document results of cyber and hardware testing and other technical reports.
- Organize and present technical information clearly to various audiences.
- Ensure documentation adheres to style guides and standards.
- Collaborate with training teams to develop and update training materials.
- Maintain a document repository and knowledge management system.
- Support project managers in tracking documentation deliverables and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in technical documentation or related fields.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a DevSecOps environment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Active Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
- US Citizenship required.
Additional Information:
- Travel: Less than 10%.
- Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite).
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000 (dependent on experience and location).
