Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Android Engineer to join TikTok's User Growth team, which drives growth initiatives across TikTok's platforms (TV, Lite, Web, etc.) with a focus on data-driven results. The ideal candidate enjoys working at the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering to help us reach billions of users.
Responsibilities
- Leverage data to understand users and identify opportunities to enhance user growth, retention, and engagement.
- Design and implement new-user features for our mobile application.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to create an exceptional mobile experience.
- Analyze and optimize Android app performance and efficiency.
- Maintain robust, clean, and well-documented code, delivering high-quality work on schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc / MS in Computer Science or related field, with at least 5 years of native Android development experience.
- Strong understanding of mobile platform capabilities and limitations.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
- Ability to understand and debug complex codebases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience building consumer-facing apps; please share your app projects.
