Job Description

Salary:

Tri-City Group is currently seeking an Audio-Visual Project Manager for Des Moines, IA. The Audio-Visual Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall on-site management of Audio-visual projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Providing follow-up regarding the status of quoted items, subcontractors, and equipment purchase orders
2. Attending weekly job meetings (onsite and internally)
3. Supervising total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed by design, budget, and schedule (includes interfacing with customer representatives, A-E representatives, other contractors, etc.)
4. Planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.)
5. Supervising craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract
6. Providing technical assistance, such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required
7. Initiating extra work estimating and issuance of change orders
8. Assuming responsibility for the productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project
9. Fostering and maintaining good morale and positive relationships with field, customers, and/or office personnel
10. Participating as a team in calling and selling customers on potential projects
11. Performing additional assignments as directed by management

Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of related experience in Audio Visual, System Design and Integration, and Project Management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
