As the Marketing Manager, Pursuits, you'll lead a team of marketers and guide the development of strategic pursuits that wow our clients and win us projects. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLeadership and Development: Manage, guide, and train a marketing team focused on strategic pursuits, ensuring their growth and developmentStrategic Planning: Develop and oversee strategic pursuit plans in collaboration with business development and operational leaders and manage pursuit deliverables from inception to completion while ensuring compliance and responsivenessCollaboration and Innovation: Work closely with the Pursuits Function Lead on pursuit strategy-improving processes and innovative solutions for enhanced quality and efficiencyContent Creation and Management: Critically edit and proof content, ensuring compelling proposal responses and presentations, and manage print production of deliverables. Collaborate with the data analyst and pursuit team members to ensure maintenance of the marketing database and marketing materials, including project lists and personnel resumesProcess and Quality Assurance: Establish and adhere to processes ensuring quality proposals and adherence to brand standardsAdditional Duties: May include managing consultants, developing project award strategies, and collecting case studies, among other responsibilities as assignedPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience and Education: 5-7 years in the A/E/C industry with a bachelor's degree. Supervisory experience and a history of successful pursuit/proposal development are essentialTechnical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and KeynoteSkills and Attributes: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. A detail-oriented individual with persuasive writing and editing capabilities who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines with positivity. An innovative thinker who embraces challenges and changeCommitment: Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlinesCulture Fit: A team player who values relationships, enjoys mentoring, and contributes to a fun and supportive work environment
