About the Role

As a UX Design Manager, you will be part of the experience design leadership team and help define, design, and implement our overall experience design strategy. You will build upon existing insights, work closely with cross-functional teams and partners to create experiences that establish and strengthen relationships and deliver fabulous experiences to our customers.

What you'll do:

•Scope and lead and/or oversee sophisticated UX projects, from beginning to end

•Demonstrate strong critical thinking and attention to detail

•Manage a small team of designers and help them grow in their careers

•Motivate, organize, and execute design initiatives creatively and meticulously

•Collaborate with partners, subject matter authorities, researchers, and analysts to discover business needs and user insights

•Conduct user research to validate user insights from partners and subject matter specialists as well as uncover additional unmet user needs

•Produce workflows, user scenarios, user stories, personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes

•Help prioritize features based on business requirements and user needs

•Work cross-functionally with other designers, business analysts, developers, and project managers on project scope, design strategy, designs, project roadmap, features, and functionality

•Design and conduct concept testing and usability testing

•Present user research, designs, prototypes, and other design results to partners

What you'll need:

•Deep real-world experience in the practical design of digital touchpoints (e.g. websites, mobile apps, etc.) with little to no oversight

•7-10 years' experience digging deep into complex user experience design ideally of a global nature

•Ability to organize own projects and work efficiently with very little oversight

•Strong interpersonal communication skills particularly across subject areas and teams

•Experience working closely with, and at times leading, visual designers and development teams

•Proven leadership experience within the product team in being the voice of the user in all sprint ceremonies and sprint work

•Ability to translate concepts, business & user requirements into wireframes and prototypes that demonstrate intuitive user experiences

•Experienced knowledge in design patterns (responsive web design, native app, web app standard methodologies)

•Experience owning the application of user personas and journeys to practical design solutions and throughout the development process

•Advanced skill with UX tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Miro, etc.

•Experience doing rapid prototype/testing (e.g. Design Sprints, Lean UX, etc.)

Bonus points for:

•Applied knowledge of SCRUM and Lean UX

•A clear understanding of when to use Quantitative verse Qualitative research

•A Master Storyteller
