The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require the independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. This successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills, and a team player attitude. In particular, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties specific to your position: Have fluency with all commissioning processes and deliverables covered in ASHRAE, CSA, Title 24, and LEED commissioning requirements.Expertise in mechanical and electrical equipment/systems inspections, testing and associated commissioning activities.Monitor, review, and execute all facets of Commissioning related projects by providing exceptional technical and field activities. In addition, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong program level management and technical functions throughout the design, construction, and post-construction phases of projects.Liaise with team members, outside consultants and contractors to lead cross functional teams on projects.The candidate will protect JLL’s contractual position and ensure our work meets contracted requirements.Understanding and capability of how to develop strong Commissioning Plans and Commissioning Specifications.Develop and manage commissioning program and jointly manage commissioning projects inclusive of project scheduling, resource and budget management, program improvements and efficiencies, lessons learned, etc.Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commissioning activities and present comprehensive reports to account management.Carry out field-based commissioning activities including but not limited to site visits, developing Start-up and pre-functional test forms, witnessing and approving contractor execution, developing and executing Functional Test scripts, developing and executing Integrated Systems Tests.Perform Commissioning Design Drawing & Specification Reviews.Have fluency/understanding with how to use calibrated testing equipment used in the commissioning process (flow hoods, anemometers, pitot tubes, IR cameras, Power Quality Meters, various meters, etc.)Develop, track and resolve issues using an Issues Log.Ability to write detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Methods-of-Procedures (MOPs).Ability to develop and compile project documentation into site/project specific Systems Manuals.Ability to develop/review/evaluate training programs for installed equipment and systems.The candidate will support, front to back, all the project documentation requirements. The intent is to be accountable for the preparation, review, and issuance of same, and though these tasks may be delegated, there may/will be the need to personally prepare them to meet the required timelines.The candidate will perform, front to back, all the field activity components. This includes scheduling and coordinating JLL and project team members, accordingly, ensuring our requirements are fulfilled by the contractor and relevant sub-trades, and maximizing efficiency/productivity of our staff.Additional Expectations Willingness to travel up to 30% to client sites across the USA Assist the team in meeting the demanding workload Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently Ability to prioritize work assignments and tasks in alignment with business goals and demands Ability to work individually and in a team environment Strong troubleshooting & root-cause analysis skills Fee management Time/Productivity management Conflict and personality management Quality management Qualifications Required: College graduate or equivalent work experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering and commissioning.A minimum of 7 years of relevant mechanical and/or electrical commissioning with minimum of 4 years in leading large programmatic commissioning accounts.Strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal, and management skills.Experience in the use of electrical testing meters and equipment and analyze and report on test results including power quality analyzers, multi-meters, cable meggering, Hi-Pot testing, breaker injection testing.Knowledge and experience in testing mechanical and HVAC&R systems including chilled water plants, air handling units, boilers, thermal storage systems, building management & automation systems, fire protection systems, plumbing equipment and systems, and other commercial and industrial heating and cooling systems. Strong data management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Project, Word, and Excel Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize multiple project schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.
