Today we're taking a little break from our regular reporting to head to the honoring of AdAge's 2008 Women to Watch, at the Hilton in Manhattan. There's a little cocktail hour, at 11:30 no less, followed by a luncheon/honoree Q&A. For a full list of the women being honored, click continued.

Now, we don't normally attend these events. Most of the time there's much more to be covered from here in our tower offices in sunny Harlem. However, we couldn't resist the opportunity to meet the top women in the field — and have an early morning drink with them. Here's hoping I don't get any mint leaf stuck in my teeth.
