Bartender Plays Ping-Pong to Get His Teeth Back

In 1995, Jamie the Bartender from Brooklyn lost nine of his teeth in a car accident. For what must have been a difficult 16 years, Jamie probably lost all hope at regaining his smile. $35,000 for a new grill? How’s a bartender from Red Hook supposed to come up with that kind of cash? Dentists be damned!

But, Jamie may have a found a solution to regain his choppers. With the help of two Dentsu creatives (who we’re guessing are ACDs Todd Eisner and Matt Bottkol), Jamie is holding a 15-hour ping-pong session next Saturday at B61 Bar starting at 1 p.m. with the goal of raising the 35 large he needs. All challengers welcome, including Susan Sarandon if she doesn’t wuss out. My, Jamie looks stunning those Adidas duds, doesn’t he? Imagine how much better he’d look with a full smile to go with it. C’mon, Brooklyn, let’s play some pong!
